At end of regulation time, if teams are tied  1. Teams take 1 minute break. 2. Teams play 4 x 4 for 3 minutes Running Time (no stop) 3. 1 minute Break 4. Teams play 3 x 3 for 3 minutes Running time (no stop) 5. GO TO SHOOTOUT, Item # 3 in NIHL Tiebreaking procedures. 6. Goalies are not allowed to be a shooter in this procedure.
